Alice Dorothy Grater

Alice Dorothy Grater (nee Lorette) passed away in her sleep September 16, 2025.

Born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, December 11, 1943, beloved wife of Vaughan Grater, loved aunt to Marlene Dickeson and grand niece Samantha, nephew David and many other nieces and nephews. Survived by her sister, Mary Amos of Amherst.

Alice loved to golf and shop. She didn’t let a golf pro shop go by without inspecting every piece of clothing.

A family celebration of her life will be held at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road on Saturday September 27th from 1 – 4 PM.
