IRONSIDE, Alexander “Alec”
Peacefully on Tuesday August 7, 2012 at the age of 96.
Beloved husband of the late Isabelle (2003). Loving father of Leith Elku and Sandy Ironside. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Tatiana, Tamalii, and Shandor. Dear brother of Ethel Auld. Alec will be remembered by his son-in-law Steve Elku, and by his nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Predeceased by his sister Isobel Ironside.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Sunday from 6-9pm.
A service will be held in the chapel on Monday August 13, 2012 at 1pm .
Interment to follow at St. Philip Anglican Churchyard Cemetery.
