Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday May 17th, 2011 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Maria. Loving father of Louisa Muzzin (late Elio) and Lucy Danesi (Marcello). Cherished nonno of Clivio and Danila. Great-grandnonno of Alexander and Sarah. Dear brother of Maria Scarpa, in Italy. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at the Etobicoke General Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their compassionate and loving care.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Friday from 5 to 9pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Catholic Church (1415 Royal York Rd. Toronto) on Saturday May 21, 2011 at 9:30am.
Entombment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery, Etobicoke.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
