Ada Bozikovic

BOZIKOVIC, ADA (NEE VALLON)
On Friday, November 23rd, 2012, Ada, in her 82nd year, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer at Dorothy Ley Hospice in Etobicoke, Ontario.

Ada, beloved wife of the late Sergio Bozikovic, sister of the late Aldo and Elda Vallon and mother-in-law of dearly beloved departed best friend Jane (Stevens) Bozikovic, is survived by her sister Mariucci in Milan, Italy, her adoring son Sergio (Jr.) Bozikovic of Toronto and grandchildren, Lisa and Alex, and his wife Livyia, and by her great grandchildren Joel and Benjamin, who lovingly know her as Bisnonna Ada.

Ada was born in Monfalcone in the Venezia Giulia region of Italy, the youngest of four. She moved to her new homeland in Canada with her husband and son in 1963 and became a proud Canadian. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family, and in addition enjoyed cooking, watching tennis, reading mystery novels and going to restaurants with her loving family.

The family wishes to extend its gratitude to The Princess Margaret Hospital, in particular to Dr. Natasha Leighl and Dr. Andrea Bezjak for their many years of exceptional care and to The Dorothy Ley Hospice for their compassionate support to Ada in her final days.
