Achille Gabriele
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Zio, Achille. He was blessed to reach the age of 101.
Achille was born in Bagnoli Del Trigno, on July 23, 1925. He arrived in Canada at Halifax, Nova Scotia on December 23, 1949, by ship, the M.S. Vulcania. And on to Toronto by train, to be introduced to the love of his life, Lina DeBlasio. They got married on February 8, 1950, and had a beautiful life together of 68 years, until Lina's passing in 2018. He will now be reunited with Lina in Heaven. He will also be reunited with his parents, Giuseppe and Vincenza, and with his brothers, Francesco, Ferruccio and Angelo, as well as family and friends who have pre-deceased him.
He will be missed by his nieces and nephews, but today is a celebration of a long fulfilled life.
May he rest in peace.
