Walter Petrac

Walter Florian Petrac passed away peacefully the evening of April 22nd, 2021 surrounded by loving family. He was born in Paris, France on April 1st, 1960 son of the late Ivan and Vera Petrac.

In 1982, Walter graduated from the Design Arts program at Seneca College with honours. This led to having a rewarding and successful career in the packaging industry. He took great pride in giving advice to an immeasurable amount of people along the way.

Walter married Eleonore his childhood sweetheart and neighbor on September 2nd, 1989, with open arms and the first to hold him they welcomed their son Adam into the world on June 27th 1994.

As a Family they created many cherished memories at the cottage, holiday get-togethers at their home and trips with family and friends.

Survived by his wife Eleonore, son Adam, and brother Willi (Karen). He will also be sorely missed by many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Friends.

Walter, Adam and Eleonore would like to thank the Doctors, Care partners, and Personal Support workers for their dedication and compassion. Going above and beyond in these very difficult times. To our family and friends, thank you for the countless phone calls, emails, flowers, meals, visits, support, thoughts and prayers.

They have been comforting and heartfelt a reminder of the impact Walter had on so many.
