With profound sadness, that we announce the passing of Vasile Sfrija on February 19, 2022, at the age of 80. Devoted husband to his wife Eufrosina (Nina) Sfrija married for 45 years. Proud father to Lilia and son-in-law Frank. Loving grandfather of Luca and Cristian.
Vasile arrived in Canada in 1987 and loved being on all the oceans worldwide as a communication officer on various ships. He was loved and appreciated by all who knew him. His family will deeply miss Vasile as he was dearly loved.
A mass will be held at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church at 100 Bainbridge Avenue, Woodbridge, Ontario.
Funeral mass will be held at 1:00pm. Repatriation to Romanian will follow funeral mass.
