Tyola Victoria Francis May 17, 1940 - April 28, 2023

Tyola Victoria Francis, 82, born May 17, 1940 to Miriam and Edward Hamilton in Macca Tree, Saint Catherines, Jamaica.
Tyola worked for 40 years at Toronto Sick Kids Hospital as a seamstress then as Registered Practical Nurse.

Tyola was a member of the Church of God Sabbath Keeping for 50 years.

Tyola was married for 58 years to Ivanhoe Francis and is survived by her sister Mavis (Winston); three sons Milton, (Mechelle), Ivanhoe Jr. (Dionne) and Leon; and three grandchildren, (predecease Michael) Matthew, Maxine, Rylie & great granddaughter Maia.

Tyola had a great sense of humour always cracking jokes. She was a loving, caring and compassionate woman, who loved the loved her family dearly. She was very involved in her sons and grandchildren’s lives, spending quality time with them as much as she could. Tyola was such a kind woman, lighting up any room she was in. She overcame many trials in life, but prevailed through it all in her faith with the Lord.

Please join us in celebrating her life on Sunday May 21, 2023 at 11:00am at The Church of God Sabbath Keeping (312 Rexdale Blvd, Etobicoke, ON, M9W 1R6).

Visitation is Saturday May 20, 2023 from 3-6pm at Ward Funeral Home (2035 Weston (Toronto) Chapel, Toronto, ON M9N 1X7). Interment following is located Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Vaughan, ON, L4K 1A7).

Reception to follow interment is located at The Church of God Sabbath Keeping (312 Rexdale Blvd, Etobicoke, ON, M9W 1R6).
