Judith "Judy" Graziano

Graziano, Judith
December 19, 1956 - December 11, 2022

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Judy Graziano (nee MacLean) on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the early age of sixty-five. Devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Judy died peacefully with her family by her side after a short but courageous battle with lung cancer.

Judy was born December 19, 1956, the youngest of four children to her loving parents Alfred (Bud) and Anne MacLean. Growing up with her three older brothers Tom, Gary and Skip, Judy learned to be resilient and developed a good sense of humor - traits that she carried with her throughout her life, including her final moments.

Judy met her husband, John, in 1975 and the two dated for a year and half. Although the timing wasn’t yet right for marriage, they continued to keep in touch and always held a special place in their hearts for one another. They rekindled their romance 6 years later, and finally married in the summer of 1985. From that day forward, they navigated their 37 years of marriage as true partners, taking on all aspects of their journey - romance, travel, parenthood, and business - together.

They welcomed their first child, Zachary, in 1987, and their second, Katelyn, shortly after in 1990. Although Judy worked alongside John to run their family business, she always said that the only job she ever wanted was to be a mother. She loved her family relentlessly, and never missed an event as her children grew up. Whether it was a school presentation or a sports game, a dance recital or a graduation, Judy was always there for her two children. Over the years, she always looked forward to moments that would bring her family together, and she especially loved spending time with her family in her backyard on sunny summer days. Judy and John began enjoying their early retirement in 2007, spending their time together traveling, staying physically active, and creating memories with family and friends.

Judy is survived by her husband John, children Zach (Becky) and Kate, grandson Charlie, and her brothers Tom (Barb), Gary (Susan) and Skip (Nancy). Her presence will be sorely missed, but the impact she had on our lives will be felt forever.

There will not be a visitation at Ward Funeral Home. Instead, a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Jan 8 from 1pm-4pm at The Vue Event Venue in Etobicoke. Flowers are being arranged by the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Lung Cancer Canada or the Alzheimer's Society of Canada
