Franco Onorati
He was a lover of nature, and a natural gatherer who was passionate about life. He had the biggest heart, and naturally had an immense need to provide for his family. Franco amazed loved ones with his ability to find great deals which he shared with them by often bringing them to their homes--special delivery. He was a fun loving individual who could be hilariously blunt at times, but to everyone who knew him he was a warm and kind teddy bear. Franco was a skilled card player who enjoyed spending his free time at his local community centre, completing crosswords, and most importantly loving his family unconditionally. His special bond with his grandson Gianluca was to be admired, especially all the nerf dart hits he endured willingly to make his favourite person happy. He will be greatly missed, and there will forever be a void in our hearts and in our lives. He is now reunited with his wife Luisa, the woman he said he was going to marry the first time he laid eyes upon her. We find comfort in knowing that he will not be missing her anymore as he did daily after her passing . The family would also like to thank all of the support workers for all the love and kindness they have shown Franco Onorati and us during these difficult past two and a half months. They were truly heroes and helped make a heartbreaking experience more bearable. Some people come into our lives for a reason, and Franco's reason was to teach people how to be honourable, honest, and devoted to the important things in life. He made an impact in the lives of everyone he encountered along his journey here on earth.
In lieu of flowers donations in Franco's honour can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association as well as the Make a Wish Foundation.

In accordance with the directives provided from the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, funeral services may be held within the funeral home with 30 % capacity of visitations rooms and the onsite chapel. Funeral Services may also be held at a place of worship with the same 30% capacity mandate. To allow your extended family and friends to offer their condolences, our spacious rooms and chapels continue to allow for social distancing requirements. Please RSVP at the link provided below.
Wearing of masks, or face coverings, by everyone is mandatory as per the directives of the Bereavement Authority. This includes ALL staff and attendees. Masks will be provided to those guests who may not have their own.
