Costanzo Della Rocca

DELLA ROCCA, Costanzo (Rocky) passed peacefully at his home on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at the age of 91. Costanzo was born on February 5th, 1930, in Montorio nei Frentani, Campobasso, Italy, but called Canada his home for over 67 years. In April of 1957, he married the love of his life Caterina Della Rocca and enjoyed 63 years of marriage and friendship.
Costanzo is now reunited in Heaven with his wife Caterina and his parents Gennaro and Filomena. Costanzo was the loving husband of Caterina and dearest father to Linda and Laura, who will miss him deeply.
Costanzo loved being with his family and friends, and his home was always the gathering place for many of our family get togethers. Costanzo loved to make pizza and soon “Rocky’s Pizza” was a “must have” request for any event. When he was young soccer was his game of choice and he never missed a chance to cheer on his favourite team Lazio! Hockey was a close second, cheering and yelling at the same time at his beloved Leafs!
Costanzo will be greatly missed by his entire family, extended family and friends. He will remain in their hearts forever and will never be forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or Canadian Cancer Society in Costanzo’s memory would be appreciated.
Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge on Thursday, February 25 from 3-9 pm. Please RSVP under the visitation section if you wish to attend. Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, the funeral service will be private. The service will take place on Friday, February 26 at 10:30 am.
