Claude Holmes

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Claude James Holmes (Aurora, Ontario) on March 9th 2023 at the age of 73. Claude's absence will be deeply felt by his family, friends, and community.

Claude is survived by his beloved wife Jayme of 37 years. He was a proud dad to daughters Heather (Vincent) and Kyra (Brett), loving grandpa of Nathan, caring brother to Jacqueline (George), and fond uncle to John, Colin (Lauren), Claire, and Cael. Devoted son-in-law to Bonnie and brother-in-law to Shannon (Terry).

He was predeceased by his parents Marion (Field) and Jack Holmes of Maple, Ontario.

Claude grew up in Maple, Ontario. He held a deep love for all animals and the outdoors over his lifetime. He volunteered for many years with the King City Lions Club. Most of all, he loved his family.

A funeral service and reception will be held at 2:00 on Saturday, March 18th at All Saints Anglican, King City (12935 Keele St).

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a donation to the King City Lions Club in memory of Mr. Holmes.
