I would like to say a few more words that I completely forgot the day of my mothers memorial I was beside myself.

I would like to thank my sister Elva for all her hard work and her detailed planning. It's not easy coordinating not to mention all the paperwork required. Not only did she arrange every detail she made sure I was included in every move she made and doing this under her own emotional pressures the whole time. Sis you are a amazing person.

Mom had a best girlfriend in the whole world when we lived in California her name was Elva she lived next door to us we were there more than in our own house. I remember mom having parties every week-end and not one did Elva not attend. They danced, drank, baked together and sang songs they were two peas in a pod. I'm sure mom named one of her daughters Elva because it gave her joy and happy memories of her best friend.

Losing a mother is a pain that cannot be described in words. It is impossible to move on from the memory of losing the woman who sacrificed happiness in her own life so that you could have a better one. A mother’s love is truly irreplaceable. There is something about losing a mother that is permanent and inexpressible a wound that will never quite heal. Death thinks it can take you away from me. But it doesn’t know you will always live in my memory.

Sis I know I must have been pretty annoying when we were young and growing up, but I promise you I will keep annoying you for old time sake. We don't know what the future holds but we always know we're just a phone call away for each other.

"Sisters are different flowers from the same garden!" Lynda

Every time I went to visit my mother she had a romance novel in her hand or beside her. I asked her why she enjoys reading romance so much she said, "It puts me in another world of adventure, romance and wishing I was one of the characters."

I knew then I was on a mission. I began to write romance novels for her with a lot of patience, determination and with her guidance along the way, I now have three published romances and after each book she said, "Hurry up I can't wait to read your next book of the series, I'm losing my eye sight and death is around the corner." Only mom would say that.

“There is a reason some people think they can do anything… they listened to their mother’s.”

My son Joe recently gave her a copy of my second novel I told her it was for her birthday she had tears in her eyes and said, "You have raised both of your boys to be kind, considerate and always thinking of others." I told her that's because I was raised that way.

Mom always wanted to hear about Leo and Joe's girls, her great grandchildren in detail on what was going on with their lives always praising Leo and Joe for being fine young men with strong wives, Sarah and Diana. She also took credit for raising me the way she did and how I have now passed my guidance and wisdom over to my boys. When it came to her great grandkids, Milaina, Gab, Olivia, Sofia, Mia and Vivian, I was ordered to take pictures at each function then not only show her all the pictures she wanted in detail how the day went. Never mind she couldn't be there but I made sure she didn't miss one event.

You will be in my thoughts every day Mom and I will miss you till my dying days.

Your daughter, Lynda
