Anthony Sloma

Anthony (Tony) Peter Sloma, age 90, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Born in Arborg, Manitoba, Tony was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (Liz), married for 50 years, who passed just 9 days earlier on September 25, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walenty and Teresa Sloma, and siblings Adam and Edward Sloma. Tony is survived by his children David and Lorraine and two grandchildren (Anthony and Veronica), and his sister Cecilia (Dave), and many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Peace Church, 3914 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON M9B 1L7. Followed immediately by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery at 7300 Highway #27, Woodbridge, ON L4H 4Y8. A celebration of his life will be held for friends and family at a later date, once Covid restrictions pass.
